- How much are sessions?
- A full 50-minute session is £60, whether you continue straight after the free consultation or book for another time. You'll only be charged if you choose to move beyond the free 15-minute call.
- Is there a sliding scale?
- Yes — for online therapy I offer a sliding scale of £40 – £60 to support people on lower incomes, students, or anyone who'd find the full fee difficult to manage. You're welcome to choose the rate that feels sustainable.
- What happens in the free 15-minute consultation?
- It's a relaxed, no-obligation phone or video call. A chance to meet, for you to ask questions, and for us to get a sense of whether working together feels right. There's no formal assessment.
- Can we continue straight into a full session?
- If you feel ready after the consultation, we can move directly into a full 50-minute session and keep the momentum. Equally, you're welcome to pause, reflect, and book later — whichever suits you.
- What will the first session be like?
- A gentle, collaborative assessment. We'll explore what's brought you here, what you're hoping for, and how we might work together. We'll also talk through confidentiality, boundaries and what to expect from me.
- Do you accept insurance?
- At the moment I work on a self-pay basis. If you'd like a receipt to submit to your provider I'm happy to arrange one.
- How often would we meet?
- Sessions are typically weekly, at the same time each week — this consistency supports meaningful insight and change. Fortnightly is possible in some cases; we'd talk this through together.
- Is what I say confidential?
- Yes. Our work is strictly confidential and held within the BACP Ethical Framework. The only exceptions relate to serious risk of harm and are explained clearly at the start.
