When you use the contact form, book a consultation, or send an email, I may collect your name, email address, phone number, and the message you choose to share. I only ask for what I need to respond to your enquiry or arrange our work together.

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange sessions.
• To keep a record of our professional agreement and any fees.
• To meet my legal and ethical obligations as a BACP-registered counsellor.
• I will never sell, rent, or share your data for marketing purposes.

I process your personal data on the basis of your consent (when you contact me or tick the consent box), and on the basis of legitimate interest in providing you with safe, professional counselling services. Clinical notes are held under the lawful basis of contract and legal obligation.

Any information you send through the website is transmitted securely. Clinical records are kept separately from general correspondence, stored password-protected, and retained in accordance with BACP ethical guidelines. Jotform submissions (if used) are handled under Jotform's own security and privacy infrastructure.

General enquiries are kept for up to 12 months unless we begin working together. Clinical records are retained for the period required by professional guidelines (typically 7 years after the end of our work), after which they are securely destroyed.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. You can also withdraw consent, request a copy of your records, or raise a concern about how your data is handled. To exercise any of these rights, email me at hello@srcounselling.co.uk.

This website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. The only cookies that may be set are essential technical cookies required for the site to function (for example, maintaining your session state if you log into any feature).

If you contact me through Jotform, your submission is processed by Jotform Ltd and subject to their privacy policy. I review any third-party tools I use to ensure they provide an adequate level of data protection.
